I’m an identity life coach working with high achieving women over 50 to find themselves after retirement or other major life transitions. My entire career has been working with, and coaching people in multiple industries and in varied leadership roles. I retired from 23 years in the world of special education where I co-founded and led a school for children with autism.
In my role as the Executive Director and a C-suite executive, I led and career coached 100’s of team members, built and led Boards, created programming, fundraised millions of dollars and been an active community partner. One of my passions has always been teaching and helping others. As someone who found tremendous clarity by working with coaches myself over the years, becoming a coach was the logical next step for me.
It fills my heart with joy to watch other women step into the next best version of themselves, break through barriers that have held them back and create a life they have dreamed of. Just because you have retired doesn’t mean life is over and it doesn’t mean you need to start another career. It means that you have the freedom to choose to do what you want to do in this next chapter of life. Many women don’t have the answer to “what do I want to do?”, that’s where I come in to help uncover those answers together.
Throughout my lifetime, I have reinvented myself multiple times: after ovarian cancer, widowhood, raising my daughter with autism as a single parent, a near-death, life-changing illness, and most recently, retirement. I have done, and continue to do, the deep work on healing, finding happiness and learning to love myself. I use my gifts of humor, wisdom and perseverance to guide clients through their transition from career life into retirement life and the loss of identity that comes from a major life change. I connect to women through laughter and my stories of resilience to motivate and inspire them on their journey.
As a Life Coach, I find that my greatest strength is to work with women who feel lost after their careers. I help to identify what is important to them, who they want to be, what their purpose is and how to create a passionate next and best chapter. I coach clients individually around the world and enjoy motivational speaking to share my stories of inspiration and grit. My message… live a full life!
In addition to coaching and speaking, I continue to honor my daughter and others with autism by consulting and speaking within the autism community on education, building programs for adults and sharing our story of how to live a full life as a family of 2 with disabilities.
My daughter and I live in the NW Burbs of Chicago. You can find us cooking up a storm in the kitchen, at the barn while she rides horses or having a dance party just about anywhere. As for me, I love making stained glass, writing books, and bird watching on my quiet little deck in the trees.
I have been richly blessed by this one extraordinary life. Looking forward to meeting you as we grow.
With Love,
Kelly
